Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Waukegan Location
Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Waukegan on July 12. Franchise owner and area director, Dan Shanahan, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, July 12 to Sunday, July 16 to support Northern Illinois Food Bank. The Waukegan location is the 50th Jersey Mike’s to open in Chicagoland.
The new restaurant, located at 982 S. Waukegan Road, circulated 9,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Northern Illinois Food Bank.
“We are so pleased to continue to support Northern Illinois Food Bank in the difference they make in the lives of so many people,” said Shanahan. “We know the value they bring to less fortunate families and we’re glad we can chip in to a great cause! One hundred percent of the proceeds from this grand opening fundraiser will go the Food Bank.”
