Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Neptune on June 29. Operating Partner Geo Kautz held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, July 12 to Sunday, July 16 to support Mary's Place by the Sea.
The new restaurant, located at 71 South Main Street in West Grove Square, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Mary’s Place by the Sea.
Kautz was born and raised in Neptune and is excited to be opening a store in his hometown. He has been a part of the Jersey Mike’s team for 19 years. “I started in the Manasquan store on Rt. 70, worked in the Brick store on Rt. 88, and then joined the corporate store division,” said Kautz. “It’s a great company to work for and a fun environment to be in! For this grand opening, we are supporting Mary’s Place by the Sea which assists women receiving treatment for cancer. We are committed to helping our community and look forward to seeing everyone at our grand opening!” Kautz’s favorite subs are the #43 Chipotle Cheese Steak and #2 Jersey Shore's Favorite, both are a must try!
