Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Wake Forest on May 24. Operating Partner Gannon Karmire held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, May 24 to Sunday, May 28 to support Wake Forest High School PTSA.
The new restaurant, located at 1009 Stadium Drive, is circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Wake Forest High School PTSA.
“I’ve been with Jersey Mike’s for a year and a half now,” said Karmire. “I was initially attracted to the franchise because of the culture and family like atmosphere.” Prior to joining the Jersey Mike’s team, he was in school at North Carolina State University and a referee for college hockey. His favorite sub is the #26 Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheesesteak, a must try!
“We are very excited to become a part of the Wake Forest community and begin our relationship with the local high schools during our grand opening fundraiser,” Karmire continued. “We look forward to seeing everyone at the opening!”
