Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Kearny Location
KEARNY, N.J., Jan. 10, 2018 – Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Kearny on January 17. Franchise owner and Marine Corps veteran Tim Jensen held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, January 17 to Sunday, January 21 to support Kearny High School.
The new restaurant, located at 190 Passaic Ave., circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Kearny High School.
"At Jersey Mike's our fundraising partnerships create a layer of sustainability for schools, youth sports leagues, and other nonprofits in our area,” said Jensen. “These partnerships allow us to truly become members of our community by allowing us to contribute to the success of our youth and town. We are thankful for the opportunity and honestly feel that we are changing the world one sub at a time."
