Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Gambrills on May 17th. Franchise owner Boris Lander held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, May 17 to Sunday, May 21 to support Driven to Cure.
The new restaurant, located at 1404 S. Main Chapel Way, in the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, circulated 15,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Driven to Cure.
“I look forward to continuing to bring the authentic Jersey Mike’s sub sandwiches to Anne Arundel County,” said Lander. “During our grand opening fundraiser, we will be partnering with Driven to Cure which is an important organization that raises awareness and funds for the research of rare kidney cancer. We look forward to sharing the Jersey Mike’s experience and currently plan on opening three more stores in the area.”

The growth is fueled by passionate Jersey Mike’s fans who crave their subs made Mike’s Way® with the freshest vegetables – onions, lettuce and tomatoes – topped off with an exquisite zing of “the juice” – red wine vinegar and olive oil blended to perfection. Jersey Mike’s premium meats and cheeses are sliced on the spot, piled high on in-store baked bread and served up with a helping of neighborly banter from a dedicated and high-energy team.
