Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Fifth Bakersfield Location
BAKERSFIELD, Calif., Jan. 17, 2018 – Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Bakersfield on January 24. Franchise owners Stacy Knight and Carrie Asbury held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, January 24 to Sunday, January 28 to support the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunner Scholarship Fund.
The new restaurant, located at 200 Coffee Road, circulated 5,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunner Scholarship Fund.
“We are thrilled to be opening up our newest Jersey Mike’s in Bakersfield,” said Knight. “We appreciate the Bakersfield community and we are excited to be opening our fifth store here. Our first store opened April 2009 and we both have been a part of the community for over 30 years. At Jersey Mike’s we are committed to making a difference in the communities where we do business. Supporting the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunner Scholarship Fund during our grand opening is a wonderful way to give back to the community,” added Asbury. “We know this opening will be a great addition to the Bakersfield community.”
