Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Phoenix on March 22. Franchise owners Alicia Rosenfield and Duane Layton held a grand opening and fundraiser from Wednesday, March 22 to Sunday, March 31 to support Monte Vista Elementary, Arcadia High School, and Camel Back High School.
The new restaurant, located at 3141 E. Indian School Rd., circulated thousands of flyers throughout the community offering various coupon offers. For each offer redeemed, Jersey Mike’s will make a $2 donation to the participating schools from March 22 to March 31.
“At Jersey Mike’s we are committed to making a difference in the community,” said Layton. “The ten day grand opening fundraiser gives us a perfect opportunity to give back to the local schools. Everyone here has been so welcoming to us and we are excited to build and grow alongside such a great community.” Rosenfield & Layton have set a personal goal to raise $5,000 for the Arcadia local schools during this fundraiser.
