Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Augusta on February 8. Franchise owner Eric Clark held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, February 8 to Sunday, February 12 to support Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation (SFBF).
The new restaurant, located at 4103 Madeline Dr., circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 donation to Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation.
“We are so excited to open another Jersey Mike’s in the Augusta area and to provide more convenience for our faithful Jersey Mike’s customers,” said Clark. “This location will be just outside the main gate of Fort Gordon, allowing so many of our military to experience ‘The Juice.’"
Clark added, “During our grand opening, we will be promoting and raising money for our local charity, Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation. SFBF does so much for burn victims and their families who are staying in this area and being treated at one of the largest burn centers in the country, Joseph M. Still Burn Center. It has been an honor to contribute to SFBF for the last six years. Our Jersey Mike’s customers are to thank for that, they have always supported our efforts.”
