Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in North Augusta on June 18. Franchise owners Eric Clark and Jason Wren, along with area manager Stephen Carter and general manager Will Sims, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, June 18 to Sunday, June 22 to support the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation.
The new restaurant, located at 1141 Knox Avenue, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation.
“The Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation is an organization that we partner with year round,” said Clark. “In addition to supporting the Burn Foundation for our annual Month of Giving in March, this is our third grand opening to raise money for the cause. We’re glad to support a charity that is locally based and supports patients and their families by providing medication, supplies, transportation, housing and support during their time of need.”
Clark added, “North Augusta is a great fit for the Jersey Mike’s brand and we are excited to open our doors to the community.”
