Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, officially opened its doors in Chesterfield on November 20. Franchise owner and area director for the region, Dan Shanahan, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, November 20 to Sunday, November 24 to support the Chesterfield Police Department Charities (Special Olympics Missouri) and the Monarch Fire Protection District Charities (Responder Rescue).
The new restaurant, located at 17273 Chesterfield Airport Road, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to the Chesterfield Police Department Charities (Special Olympics Missouri) or the Monarch Fire Protection District Charities (Responder Rescue).
Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's continued its steady growth in 2012 opening 92 new restaurants throughout the country, a 33 percent increase in new store growth over 2011.

For the first five days that we are open, we will be raising money to help make a difference by supporting the Chesterfield Police Department and the Monarch Fire Protection District in their efforts to raise money for local causes.”
