On hand monday for the opening of Jersey Mike's Subs at One World Trade Center in Long Beach were, from left, co-owner Angel Velazquez, General Manager Charles Holling, employee Morgan Eddens, field representative Travis McQuinn and co-owner Dan Burnell. The submarine sandwich chain originated at the Jersey Shore in 1956. The sandwich shop is celebrating its opening with a six-day fundraiser that began to raise money Monday for St. Mary Medical Center's Comprehensive AIDS Resource and Education Program (C.A.R.E.).
