Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled East Coast-style subs, officially opened its 2nd location in Richardson on March 21. Franchise owners Troy Wuertz, Dan Martin and Ramsey Koschak held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wed., March 21 to Sun., March 25 to support Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS). They will continue their fundraising efforts from Thurs., March 29 to Sun., April 1 in support of the J. J. Pearce High School Booster Club.
The new restaurant, located at 1920 N. Coit Road #221, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community and local college campuses, offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) and J. J. Pearce High School Booster Club.
Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike’s continued its steady growth in 2011 opening 69 new restaurants throughout the country, a 15 percent increase overall. The popular sub shop wins best sub awards in virtually every market it enters.

To reach even more youth, we included J. J. Pearce High School Booster Club. Its motto of ‘academic excellence is not a goal...it is the standard,’ really resonated with us.”
