Alvaro Garcia will open his sixth Jersey Mike’s Subs location in Southern California. He currently owns and operates locations in Rancho Cucamonga, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, Glendora and Upland.
The grand opening and free sub fundraiser will support Damien High School, Bonita High School and Ramona Middle School. Anyone who has a fundraising coupon can get a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution.
The new store is located at 2212 Foothill Blvd., La Verne
On the fundraiser: Garcia hopes to spark initiative by transforming his grand opening fundraiser into a friendly competition among schools. In addition to the fundraising coupons, the La Verne team will be distributing custom coupons to each school sponsored in their partnership. For every coupon redeemed at Jersey Mike’s Subs of La Verne, $1 will be contributed to the respective school. In addition to their earned amount, the school that brings in the most coupons will receive an additional $1,000.
On Jersey Mike’s: The La Verne location will be Alvaro Garcia’s sixth Jersey Mike’s opening in eight months. His rapid opening schedule is a testament to his ability to run a successful, thriving business. “When it comes down to it, the key to my success can be attributed to my active participation in all our locations’ communities,” Garcia said.
