Martin Anderson and Clark Stallings opened their sixth Jersey Mike’s Subs location in Virginia. Between the two, Stallings and Anderson contribute more than 35 years of industry experience.
A grand opening and free sub fundraiser will support the USO—United Service Organizations. Anyone who has a fundraising coupon received a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution. Five thousand coupons were distributed throughout the community and in local newspapers.
The new store is located at 5832 Northampton Blvd., Virginia Beach.
On the fundraiser: The USO is a private, nonprofit organization whose core mission is to lift the spirits of America’s troops and their families. The USO provides morale and recreational services to members of the U.S. military, with programs at more than 160 locations in 27 states and 14 countries, and at hundreds of entertainment events each year. “Clark and I wanted to show our gratitude for the sacrifices our troops make for the citizens of this country,” said Anderson. “The USO provides a tangible way for all of us to say thank you,” said Stallings.
All Jersey Mike’s franchise owners find ways to support their neighbors and employees are encouraged to volunteer their time and talents as well.
On Jersey Mike’s: “We are looking forward to expanding into many more of the wonderful communities in the Hampton Roads market,” said Anderson.
