Cincinnati Children's And Jersey Mike's Subs Team Up To Help Local Kids
Fundraiser Takes Place Through Month of April
Cincinnati area Jersey Mike's Subs restaurants are joining forces in a month-long campaign to benefit the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. To support the hospital, Jersey Mike's stores will donate $1 for every #13 sub sold throughout the month of April.
Twelve area Jersey Mike's stores will participate in the fundraiser, selling as many of the most popular Jersey Mike's sub as they can. The #13 is the Original Italian with an assortment of Italian meats and cheeses, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, done Mike's Way with red wine vinegar, olive oil and spices.
"At Jersey Mike's we feel it's important to support our community," said Peter Cancro, founder and CEO of Jersey Mike's. "Raising funds to champion the life saving treatments at Cincinnati Children's is a natural fit for us. We strive to make a difference everyday - one sub at a time."
Cincinnati Children's is Greater Cincinnati's only pediatric hospital and is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to the local community.
Reaching out to the community is a key component of Jersey Mike's mission. All franchise owners find ways to support their neighbors and employees are encouraged to volunteer their time and talents as well.
