New Sub Shop Gives Back to Community

A new sub shop is giving back to the community while celebrating its grand opening. It was all hands on deck today at Jersey Mike's near TJ Maxx in Savannah.
It's the second location in the area. Customers got a free sub for a dollar donation. All money goes to Saint Joseph's Candler. The owner says it's all about giving back.
"Each franchisee, if you take a look at our cup series when you're getting your drink, it's giving back and making a difference in someone's life. It's what our corporate mission statement is about, it's what we care about and what we do around the country," said Peter Cancro, President of Jersey Mike's.
The dollar donation for a free regular sub promotion runs through this Sunday. You must have a coupon. Coupons are being distributed throughout the community and in local newspapers.
