Company Brings its Authentic Northeast Subs to Illinois

Jersey Mike's Subs continues its steady expansion throughout the country with the opening of its first sub shops in Illinois.  In early April, the first Jersey Mike's Subs opened in Vernon Hills followed quickly by an opening in Naperville last week and one slated to open in Gurnee in May.  All are located in the Chicago area.  The company's authentic Northeast style subs are now available in 27 states.

"The Jersey Mike's brand is thriving and our sub-culture of raving fans is rapidly expanding," said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike's founder and CEO.  "It's a big milestone to enter the Chicago market and with committed franchisees, a fresh delicious product and a friendly environment we see lots of opportunity."

Jersey Mike's is growing in other areas of the country as well.  The sub franchise recently opened its 30th store in California and its 5th in Arizona. 

"Not only are we seeing tremendous excitement about our brand from consumers but we're also hearing from developers who are interested in the concept," said Hoyt Jones, president, Jersey Mike's.  "Just recently in Las Vegas, the sales team received significant interest at the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference."
