Jersey Mike's Subs Opens in Winter Springs
Owners Celebrate Grand Opening with Free Subs

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla., Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, officially opened its doors in Winter Springs on September 4. Franchise owners Sean Gillespie and Adam Babroski held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, September 4 to Sunday, September 15 to support the YMCA and Florida Kraze Krush.
The new restaurant, located at 5655 Red Bug Lake Road, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to the YMCA and Florida Kraze Krush. Half of these 10,000 coupons will be valid through September 8 with the other half being valid through September 15.
Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's continued its steady growth in 2012 opening 92 new restaurants throughout the country, a 33 percent increase in new store growth over 2011.
Gillespie and Babroski exemplify Jersey Mike’s quest for excellence as it selects franchise owners who share the company's commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service and who are dedicated to giving back to the local community. Since 2010, locations throughout the country have raised almost $7 million for worthy local charities and distributed more than 500,000 free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.

Passionate Jersey Mike's fans crave their subs made Mike's Way™ with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and a signature olive oil blend, vinegar and spices. The company uses only private labeled meats and cheeses that are sliced fresh for each sub sandwich and piled high on in-store baked bread. Everything is quickly made to order for each customer, just the way the first subs were made at the original Jersey Mike's more than fifty years ago. The Jersey Mike’s experience always includes its trademark neighborly banter served up by a high-energy Jersey Mike’s team.
This is the third Jersey Mike’s location for Gillespie and Babroski. In February 2011, they opened their first Jersey Mike’s location in Orlando. Gillespie and Babroski are also owners of a Jersey Mike’s in Winter Park which opened in April 2012.
