Local Resident Wins Trip To New Orleans For Big Game From Jersey Mike’s Subs
Jersey Mike’s® Super Sub Sweeps Winner Announced

North Myrtle Beach resident William Markle is heading to New Orleans on Thursday for the big game as the winner of Jersey Mike’s® Super Sub Sweeps. As the Grand Prize Winner, Markle received two tickets to Sunday’s game along with airfare and a hotel stay for four days. He won out of thousands of entries, according to Jersey Mike’s, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled East Coast-style subs – perfect for football viewing parties of any size.
“It came as a complete surprise and it took a couple of hours to sink in that I had won a trip to the Super Bowl," said Markle, whose favorite Jersey Mike’s Sub is the #43, Chipotle Cheese Steak. “Most of all I look forward to taking in the whole atmosphere of going to the game and the events for fans that are related to the Super Bowl."
With his wife unable to get away, Markle asked a long time friend and old college buddy to join him. “My friend and I went to New Orleans a couple of times in our younger days over 30 years ago,” he said. “I am sure we will bring back many more great memories this time, although I am sure it will be a much different experience from a middle aged perspective!"
Markle, whose favorite teams were knocked out of the playoffs, said he may not decide who he wants to win until he gets to the game. “I look forward to seeing Colin Kaepernick quarterbacking for the 49ers as well as Ray Lewis's last pro game for the Ravens,” he added. This will be Markle’s first pro football game.
